Grilled Tropicali Sandwich

Ham, turkey, bacon and barbecue sauce are layered onto whole wheat bread with cheese, roasted red pepper, spinach, avocado and mango for a tasty tropical treat.

Ingredients

4 teaspoons light mayonnaise

1 teaspoon Dijon-style mustard

½ teaspoon prepared horseradish

2 slices Sara Lee® 100% Whole Wheat Bread

15 baby spinach leaves

2 slices Sara Lee® Hickory Smoked Ham

4 teaspoons hickory smoke barbecue sauce, divided

3 slices prepared roasted red pepper, each about 1 ½-inches wide

2 slices bacon

2 slices Sara Lee® Oven Roasted Turkey

1 slice Sara Lee® Provolone Cheese

2 slices avocado

2 slices mango

1 teaspoon melted butter

Preparation

Preheat grill or grill pan.

Combine mayonnaise, mustard, and horseradish in a small bowl.  Spread mayonnaise mixture on each slice of bread.

Place spinach leaves on one slice of bread.  Top with ham, 2 teaspoons barbecue sauce, red pepper, bacon, turkey, remaining 2 teaspoons barbecue sauce, cheese, avocado, mango, and remaining bread slice.  Brush top of bread with melted butter.

Place buttered-side down on grill pan.  Butter topside of bread and cook 2 to 3 minutes or until bread is toasted.  Turn and cook 2 to 3 minutes longer, or until warm and bread is toasted.
